The NancyProofed Process
With NancyProofed, you receive uncompromising quality and accuracy, prompt and timely service, expertise working with busy professionals, and personal attention from me through every step of the process. Here’s how it works:
Email me at me@nancyproofed.com and describe your project (genre, document format, word count, etc.) and identify your deadline for completion and delivery. If possible send a sample from the middle of your document (e.g., page 142 of 10,608) for me to review. I will contact you if additional details are needed to create the quote.
Upon receipt, I will review and analyze your file and its contents, prepare a cost estimate (quote) and deadline commitment for your review and approval, and send it to you by return email. You may contact me@nancyproofed.com to discuss any deadline considerations and explore possible accommodations.
If you approve the estimate and deadline commitment, I will send you a letter of agreement. I require 50% upfront payment with the signed agreement to begin the project. The balance is payable when I deliver the final product and your invoice. I accept checks and Zelle payments.
The preferred document format is Microsoft Word, and I use the “track changes” feature to highlight errors, mark insertions and deletions, and add comments and suggestions where appropriate. If you prefer, I can also annotate PDF files to fix errors and add comments using Adobe Acrobat Reader.
